The infuser will hold some odor and residue if it is washed out well every so often. You will need to clean the unit well if you are forgetful. No matter what, the Bodum pot takes a couple of minutes to wash out really well. The attractive device can be washed and put away in little time at all.

There are also different sizes available in this product to consider. You have a choice of a two, four or six cup Bodum tea pot. I opted for a six cup unit for my home office. I just fill it and take it downstairs. The water is warm and ready to go.

I find that I make fewer trips up and down the steps, which saves me a lot of time. I have a handy collection of teas in a handy tin at my fingertips. The unit is great for the occasional visitor, too.
